1. Who We Are

VedJyotix ("we", "us", "our") is a free Vedic astrology platform operated by Vellmont Services. Our website is available at vedjyotix.com. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at support@vellmontservices.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect minimal data and only when you voluntarily provide it:

  • App waitlist email — if you submit your email on the waitlist form, we store it solely to notify you at app launch.
  • Consultation enquiry — name, email, and message submitted via the consultation form are forwarded to our team by email and are not stored in a database.
  • Calculator inputs — names and birth details you enter in our Kundali, Numerology, Love Calculator, or Gun Milan tools are processed entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Waitlist emails are used only to send a single launch notification.
  • Consultation form data is used only to respond to your enquiry.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Resend — transactional email delivery. Resend processes email addresses as necessary to send emails. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare / Caddy — web server and TLS termination. Standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, URL) may be retained for up to 14 days for security purposes.

5. Cookies

VedJyotix does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We use a single session-scoped cookie to remember your language preference (English or Hindi). No advertising or profiling cookies are set.

6. Data Retention

Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request deletion or the app launches, whichever comes first. Consultation enquiry emails are retained in our mailbox for up to 90 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to any personal data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your email from the waitlist at any time.
  • Withdraw consent for email communications.

8. Children's Privacy

VedJyotix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect when the latest version was published. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
